Since completing his BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy in 2001 from the University of Brighton and his MSc in Health Sciences from the University of Jyväskylä in 2010, Ben has developed a 15-year clinical background specialising in musculoskeletal, sports injuries and orthopaedics. 


Ben is a Chartered Physiotherapist, completing his BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy in 2001 from the University of Brighton as well as an MSc in Health Sciences from the University of Jyväskylä in 2010. 


He has undertaken some of the world's leading research in aquatic therapy. His recent PhD thesis investigated the effect of aquatic resistance training on the biochemical composition of tibiofemoral cartilage, body composition and function in women with mild knee osteoarthritis.  


Ben has a number of peer-reviewed publications on the effects of aquatic exercise on different populations including four systematic reviews and several published randomised controlled trials. 


With a 15-year clinical background specialising in musculoskeletal, sports injuries and orthopaedics and experience working with some of Finland’s elite athletes, Ben is a respected lecturer and an asset to the Good Boost team.
